(30 cm)\r\n\r\n<em>Provenance<\/em>\r\n\r\nScottish private collection since the 1960\u2019s - By descent\r\n\r\nto the previous owner - McTears Auctioneers, Glasgow, 7th April 2021, lot\r\n\r\n1663 - Paul Reeves London, acquired at the above sale.\r\n\r\nNote A period photograph of what we believe to be the cabinet o\u2000ered here prior\r\n\r\nto being painted is in the collection of the Hunterian Museum, Glasgow (GLAHA:44715).\r\n\r\n<em>Similar pieces<\/em>\r\n\r\nThis cabinet is the only example of this design known to date. It is also\r\n\r\none of very few white painted pieces by E. A. Taylor. Other variants are in the collections\r\n\r\nof the Minneapolis Institute of Art (98.276.82), the Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative\r\n\r\nArt, Denver (2012.0759) and of Glasgow Museums (E.1981-126).
